Write a 100 word story.

“No one cares, Herb,” she said while walking on her treadmill. She looked at the meter on the wall that read Charge complete in 15 minutes. “Listen, I gotta go.” She hung up and turned off her treadmill. Only 80% charge to last her for the day but it would have to do.
She walked into her tiny kitchen and the light turned on, coffee-maker started, and toaster dinged. Her allotted morning breakfast. She stood in front of her fridge, coffee in hand, and said, “make me laugh.”
The screen on the door illuminated and she was laughing in seconds.
