TRANSCRIPT
A wrought iron gate squeaks as a gust of wind blows it open then closed. An overgrown garden hides a house made of bones. Inside the house lives a man with no age. He’s been collecting bones to build a home since before he was born. First from his ancestors. Then from his friends. Now he goes out at night in search of more bones.
Beyond the iron gate, down a long and winding road, he has a small village filled with walking and talking bones to choose from. And tonight they lock their doors because the Bone Man’s hunting.
The Ace of Skulls is the opening card of a suit of identity. To ask who we are at our core, in our bones, is to mistake them as all we are. But we are all the rest, the skin, the hair, the clothes. This is our starting canvas to accessorize and paint on. Create yourself, and don’t be afraid to re-create as you go.
