TRANSCRIPT
The plant shop looked closed from the outside, hardly any decorations in the window displays, except for one sign that read: SALE! SALE! SALE! EVERYTHING MUST GO!
Two boys peered through the dirt covered door. That’s when they saw it. A plant that had its own light on a shelf. Its petals seemed to change colors as they looked at it. Then they saw one of the flowers move as if beckoning them to get a closer look.
A bell chimed over the door but no one came to the front. No one witnessed what a hungry plant will do.
The Queen of Flytraps is the queen of fooling you into her warm embrace with her honey-sweet dew. Then she traps you, crushes you in her arms, and drains out all the goodness, happiness, and energy you can give. Then she discards you. Don’t fall for her sickly sweet trap.
