TRANSCRIPT
The lights in the museum turn off at eleven o’clock. Then the night watchman starts his rounds on the main floor. He casts his flashlight across the floor of the gallery of paintings. All clear.
He hesitates outside the next gallery; The Night Room. Darkest room in the museum with no emergency lights. He points his light straight ahead, casting shadows from painted faces on marble statues. This room always gives him the creeps. The less time he spends there, the better.
Just as he’s about to leave his light stops on a statue he swears is smiling at him.
The King of Ghosts is the lord of the dead and all things that have passed. He reminds you of what has already happened or of how things might not have worked out last time in an effort to help you learn from the mistakes of the past. Do not make the mistake of thinking he is the present though. His lessons are to be learned from and moved on from, not to be relived.
