TRANSCRIPT
Cars honked. People shouted. But he couldn’t hear any of them. He ran out into oncoming traffic, causing several cars to swerve out of his way. They saw the fear in his eyes, but didn’t care to figure out what scared him.
His eyes scanned the crowds of angry faces. He had been followed for several blocks before deciding to run out in into the road. It was the only way to lose it. Then a woman walked out into the road, waving to get his attention.
She smiled and flashed red eyes. He knew the chase was not over.
