TRANSCRIPT
“Jeremy Wendell! Come on down! You’re our next contestant!” The crowd cheers. Cameras pan the audience till they land on Jeremy Wendell’s shocked face. He feigns a smile and reluctantly stands up. He recognizes the look of relief on everyone else’s face that their name wasn’t called.
The host waits on stage. A table and two chairs. The host directs Jeremy to one chair and they both sit.
“Tell me, Jeremy, how excited are you for this life-changing opportunity?”
Jeremy gulps. His mouth suddenly dry. He glances down at the trap door under his chair. “I am over the moon.”
