TRANSCRIPT
The suspects gathered in the library of Harcourt Manor where Ambrose Pinter was ready to reveal the murderer. Could it be Mrs. Tibbets, the housekeeper of forty years? Or perhaps it’s one of the three children, all expecting to inherit a tidy sum after the assets are split equally among them. An estate they all were mere hours away from losing when the family lawyer, Mr. Whistlebaum, was called to change the will.
When Ambrose Pinter entered the room he walked to the mantle and prepared his pipe. He let the silence linger. It was the best part, after all.
Pause is a call to take a break from your duties, especially from the parts of being an adult that feel joyless, and sit on the floor and play for a moment. Your worries and their weight will return when you’re done, but take a moment for you.
