TRANSCRIPT
“Try not to say out too late!” A mother shouted at her son as he hopped on his bike, and rolled his eyes to the benefit of his friends waiting for him at the end of the driveway.
“You ready?” He nodded. He could feel the eyes of their neighbors from the safety of their homes. Whenever they got together no house was safe and everyone knew it. “Let’s go then.”
The group of ten, mix of girls and boys, slowly pedal their bikes along the peaceful cul de sac, their bike bells echo a death rattle into the night.
Kids on Bikes speaks to the experience of summer nights when you’re young, when you have freedom. When you feel anything can still happen, and it just well might. Claim that for yourself today.
