Write a 100 word story.

I poured a third glass of beer for him, knowing full well he was clearly trying to drown his sorrows over some woman. They always are. It was a quiet night so I thought I’d make conversation.
“What’s her name?” I asked him, busying myself cleaning some glasses.
“Excuse me?” He replied, his speech slurred a bit. In hindsight, I should’ve cut him off. “I don’t think that’s any of your business.” He stumbled trying to get off the stool. Not the most graceful dismount.
“Take it easy, man,” I said, noticing what he was wearing. Fit for a groom.
The Vow is a warning against making promises you can’t keep, especially ones that are grand and sweeping, when in reality it can be far too hard to uphold in practice.
