The house spiraled in the tornado, traveling through space and time, unsure of where or when it would be safe to land. Suddenly, the house landed with a thud in a most unfamiliar place to the girl and her dog, hiding inside.
They could hear murmurings coming from just outside a window. “What in Oz was that?” “Did you see it? A house falling from the sky?” “Have you seen Glinda? I thought I saw her walking down the road?”
A few moments later, gasps and weeping were heard. “She can’t be gone…Who would dare kill a Good Witch?”
Moth Children is a call to be aware of how stories have been retold. The why of the changes made to the story will often tell you something intrinsically true about the story itself, or at least help you understand why it is no longer the same.
