Today on Erica Drayton Writes, the Prompt is practice!
Write a 100 word story.
And tag me if you take up the challenge.
“He calls this piece ‘The Hand’ because of the way the fingers are splayed on the canvas. Each red stroke represents not just fingers but the pain they’ve been through.” The tour guide continued through the gallery of paintings all done by the same recluse artist.
When he got to the most famous painting, there were gasps, as they covered their noses from the smell. “As you can see, the color choices are the most important part of this piece he calls ‘MURDER!.’ Don’t be fooled by how real it looks. He assures us paint was used, not real blood.”
Practice is as it says: To do a thing time and time again until you grow better and more confident, simply because that’s the process of doing just about anything in life. Do and do, until you do better.
