Write a 100 word story.

The cat chased the mouse into the kitchen, round the island, and back out into the foyer where guests were beginning to arrive. To save its tail the cat lost sight of the mouse but sniffed it out again and headed into the dining room where a full orchestra began to play.
Out into the courtyard the cat made haste, till it stopped at the base of a large water fountain. It leapt up and stopped briefly to stare at its reflection in the rippling water. Completely forgetting what brought it here, the cat leaned in closer to the water.
The Familiar is an ally to your cause. They work with you, but often defer to you, acting beneath you. The power is not balanced. This can be a mentor and mentee, an owner and a pet, or a friend who fits a particular, generally imbalanced, niche in both of your lives.
