The Cadillac waited outside under the hot morning sun, its engine revved and ready to go. The driver side door hung open. The sound of music playing from the radio blew into the empty night.
Drops of blood on the steering wheel and passenger seat paints a rather grim picture. The drops continue away from the car and towards the front door of the house. A bloody handprint on the door.
Radio station changes to a news bulletin, “This just in, the Cadillac killer has escaped state penitentiary. He’s considered armed and dangerous. If you encounter him, proceed with caution.”
Bride's gettin' married in the springtime
Widow's gettin' married in the fall
I got married in high school
Or I wouldn't of got married at all
I'd be drivin' my automobile
