Today on Erica Drayton Writes, the Prompt is shop!
Write a 100 word story.
And tag me if you take up the challenge.
The bells let me know a customer has just entered the store. But not just any customer. It’s exactly five o’clock, which means it can only be one person; Walter.
Everyday for the past three years, Walter has walked into my shop in search of one thing. He won’t tell me what he’s looking for and I wish he would. He’s started to freak out my other regular customers. Especially the ladies.
“Anything come in today?” He asks me with his usual wide grin. I stopped answering his question since it doesn’t matter. He’s going to search every shelf anyway.
You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love drives a man insane
You broke my will, but what a thrill
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire
