Today on Erica Drayton Writes, the Prompt is traffic!
Write a 100 word story.
And tag me if you take up the challenge.
My windshield wipers move so fast I can’t see them. My vision blurs on the taillights ahead of me. Stuck in traffic for the past three hours, every inch of movement feels like an eternity. I quit trying to see what the hold up was hours ago.
I glance in my rearview mirror and sigh. I’m exhausted. Then I see it. Or, I should say, I don’t see it. The car behind me has no one in the driver’s seat. Were they stupid enough to step out in this weather?
Traffic is moves another inch, as does the empty car.
