“She thinks I care, you see. That I’m somehow hurt by how quickly she moved on. They all moved on,” he slurred. The barman nodded, pretending to be listening to the man who was clearly two-sheets to the wind, but all he cared about was closing up soon.
Smiling into his half-empty beer glass he continued, “Little does she know—” he hiccuped. “Little do they all know.” He finished his drink and slammed it down. “BOOM!” He shouts followed by a cacophony of laughter. “Presents. Amiright?”
He shakes his head, continuing to laugh out loud to himself, leaving the bar.
