Write a 100 word story.
And tag me if you take up the challenge.

David twirled back onto the stage and even his parent’s were surprised to see him doing so well. He could see the looks on their faces and for a moment wished he could stop Sam whom he knew was above his head, waiting for the signal to drop the bucket.

David’s partner also twirled onto stage, seconds away from stopping beside him. He looked up just in time to see a bucket full of scalding hot water fall. The audience thought it was part of the show. Her screams snuffed out by the applause as the curtain closed once more.
