Write a 100 word story.

David had to get closer without bringing too much attention to himself. The tree he should be occupying was just off-stage. He climbed inside the hollow trunk of the tree and walked it slowly across the stage to the side where Ms. Hiller and Sam were talking.

He could hear the giggles coming from the audience, likely from seeing a tree moving. He was sure the four girls singing on stage were not happy about it but they kept on singing.

When he made it to the other side he heard Sam say, “…he made me do it. I swear…”
