The music popped and crackled from the speakers connected to a record player. It echoed through the many rooms and hallways in Ambervale High. The disco light spun, flashing lights seen from outside.

Then came a loud BOOM as the authorities burst through the dancehall doors, pushing bodies leaning against the door out of the way.

Couples frozen in time on the dance floor. Wide smiles and wide eyes on their faces. Stuck in horror or in happiness? Decades later, the questions still remain.

Ambervale High, now abandoned. With music playing every night, for young at heart, frozen in time.
