Write a 100 word story.

“That was a lovely funeral, Catherine. I’m sure your mother would be proud of the send off you gave her.” Mr. Richardson accompanied Catherine back to her home, not too far from the funeral home that they couldn’t walk there after the services.
“It was kind of you to walk me home. But I think I’d like to be alone now,” she said as nicely as possible, hoping he would take the hint.
“Shame you weren’t here when she needed you most,” he continued, not paying attention.
Catherine led him into her home. “I was busy disposing of a body.”
