The caravan bounced and lurched its way down a quiet country road. Headlights off. So as not to attract any unwanted attention.
“I can’t see a bloody thing!” Whispered Chester loudly, squinting into pitch darkness.
The dark clouds in the sky blocked the full moon’s light that would be helpful right about now.
The caravan came to a complete stop, sending their passengers flying out of their seats.
“Why have you stopped?” one bandmate asked.
“See for yourself,” Chester said, pointing into the darkness. “Don’t blink, or you’ll miss it.”
A pair of red eyes appeared. Then another. Then another.
