I Wish I Could Shimmy Like My Sister Kate | A 100 Word Story
#652 | Four of Jazz | Rhythm and Soul Tarot
Today on Erica Drayton Writes, the Prompt is dance!
Write a 100 word story.
And tag me if you take up the challenge.
Everybody knows the party doesn’t start till Kate hits the dance floor. Men want her. Women want to claw her eyes out. It’s been that way for Kate since birth.
No one ever pays attention to me. We could both be on the dance floor, moving our hips to the music. But everyone only sees her and we prefer it that way.
While she keeps the men entertained and the women angry, I can slip away unnoticed. Money. Jewelry. Even a car! I take what we need. Nothing more.
They won’t miss their things but they almost always miss Kate.
