#654 | Six of Jazz | Rhythm and Soul Tarot
Today on Erica Drayton Writes, the Prompt is suitor!
Write a 100 word story.
And tag me if you take up the challenge.
Suitors came from miles around in hopes to catch the fare maiden’s eye. Every night she stands out on her balcony. The moon accentuating her best parts. While the men wait beneath her window.
Every night she chooses one to enter her home. A name whispered to her most loyal maid and the gentleman is granted an audience.
She waits for him in her bedroom. The last place a lady should meet a suitor. But he will soon discover she is no lady.
The maid turns the key in the lock once he’s inside. Their screams never last very long.
