“Welcome, suga. What can I getcha?” the waitress asked.
“I’ll have your special,” the stranger said. Sheila looked down the end of her glasses at the gentleman and tsk’d a few times.
“You’re not from around here are ya. My regulars know better than to order the special. Don’tcha know it’ll—“
“I know all that already. So quit your squawkin’ and get me my order”
Sheila was about to clap back at the gentleman when he slammed his hands down on the table. “NOW!” He shouted, making her jump.
She locked the door of the diner before placing his order.
