Last time I saw my paw, he taught me how to fish. We spent hours there, just him and me, and our fishin’ rods. We ain’t catch one fish that day.
That night I heard him talkin’ with my maw. He was fixin’ to leave for work when I was man enough to catch a fish.
We been fishin’ every day for weeks now. Those fish just ain’t bitin’. I ain’t never seen my maw happier to have paw around so much.
Then one day I caught my first fish! But before paw could see, I threw it right back!
