Write a 100 word story.

“Ladies and gentlemen. The moment you’ve all been waiting for. Ms. Carlotta Blind.”

The emcee backed away from the mic and a spotlight came on in the center of the stage. Carlotta stepped forward, wearing a red blindfold, her eyes intentionally shielded from the world. Her body wrapped in similar material to that of the blindfold.

She turned her head slowly, surveying the gawkers through her blindfold. Not a sound could be heard. They all waited for her to speak. In anticipation to see what she’d do.

Then she slowly leaned in to the mic…

And laughed loudly, with fear.
