Jimmy picked up a glass with hands that shook so violently, alcohol sloshed onto the floor, leaving little for him to gulp.
“I didn’t say that, Jimmy. I just think Sally could use a rest, that’s all. Let’s just put her away—”
Jimmy threw his glass against the wall. “Put her down,” he chuckled, “to you I’m just a ventriloquist. To her, I’m much more. Isn’t that right, Sally?”
