#733 - The Fairy Godmother
Her cackle echoed through the woods. Every animal trembled with fear as they listened closely to her footfalls. It had been a full day since she made this same walk in search of her lost wand. The forest had a way of taking things that didn’t belong to it but she had a plan for getting it back.
“If you give it back, I promise I will grant one wish to the next human I encounter,” she said, knowing her promise was pointless. There’d never been another human sighted here. But as her wand returned she heard a girl crying.
