Come. Sit. I will tell you a story. Of sadness and vengeance. Of love and betrayal. But be warned. When my tale is done you will not be the same person anymore.
My tales have been known to change the listener. They become the character from my story. They lose themselves.
This change is necessary and irreversible. For no one must remember the tale I’ve spun. Both a blessing and a curse.
I am the master storyteller with listeners who can never remember the story I’ve shared. But I use my power for good and for evil in equal measure.

This concept of 100 word stories inspires me to try something different on a book description. Perhaps envisioning the task as a 200 word story about the concept, rather than a condensation of the narrative, will provoke something interesting.
