#744 - Sleeping Beauty

Deep in a forest, in the tallest tower in all the land is a princess pacing. She is pacing because she cannot sleep. She has been awake for ninety-nine days. If she can remain awake for one hundred days then her kingdom will be saved from the curse.

It was on the day of her birth that the King and Queen were told their daughter must complete this task on her sixteenth birthday or the kingdom will perish.

She was tired. So very tired. So she paced back and forth on hot coals. Mumbling incoherently to herself about a fairy.
