The sun was warm against her supple skin that sprouted goose pimples when a cool breeze came in. Her open eyes twitched. Her freshly painted fingernails gripped the deck chair she laid on, staring up at the bright blue sky.
Her mouth agape. Held open by a balled up piece of paper. Lipstick smeared and mascara running from tears.
The pool beside her, clean and clear, reflected a dark figure standing over her rested body. The pearls around her neck dug into her throat till they nearly broke from the force.
When her eyes stopped twitching the figure walked away.
