I channeled my inner warrior and marched into the cave with my sword held high. My village sent me to slay the beast and free us from our weekly ritual of sacrificing one of our own.

If we didn’t it would destroy us all. And honestly, we were running out of people! Women spent the last decade refusing their beds to all men and the men were not happy about it.

But it was the barmen who endured stinky, smelly, men drinking all day and puking all night. It’s for their sacrifice that I, unmarried maiden Eloise, volunteered my services.
