“Fishing is boring. Can we go home, paw? We been here for hours and ain’t caught no fish,” the boy whined.
“We ain’t fishing for fish, boy. We’re fishing for the pearl. Legend has it, a pearl was tossed in by a dragon.”
The boy’s eyes grew wide. “Why don’t you just swim out there and get it, paw?”
“I would, but I can’t swim.”
“I can swim, paw. I’ll go get it!” The boy shot up out of his chair and ran towards the water, jumping in. The water immediately spat him back out.
“It doesn’t like greed, son.”
