The cow rider had his arrow poised and ready to fire at the next thing that moved. Then, a low rumble, foreign to him, made him lower his weapon and look at his stomach. He couldn’t be hungry. He eyed his cow strangely. No. Couldn’t be.

The rocks on the ground nearby started to bounced and move as the rumble grew louder. Came closer.

The cow shuffled its feet from fear. Ready to run. A horn blew and the rider was flung backwards, hitting his head on something metal. The cow long gone.

The train raced by at breakneck speeds.
