She pulled the zipper on her donkey suit. A costume she begged her mother for all week. There was only one on the shelf, tucked behind far more suitable costumes for a little girl; a ballerina, a princess, or even a witch. But the donkey suit was purchased.
The girl pulled the hood up and giggled at the way the large donkey ears flopped. She practiced her hee-haw before clopping out the door for candy.
Later that night when she tried to take off her costume the zipper was stuck! The next morning there was no zipper and no girl.
