The path was marked by skulls, whether by time, resting peacefully on spikes. It was not a welcoming path but it was not meant to be welcoming. Lost travelers would quickly turn and run upon seeing the first two skulls on either side of the path. Anyone who dare step foot upon the path would feel compelled to keep going.
At the end stood a house as old as the skulls but with far better bones. Shrouded by trees thousands of years old. With vines and rotted branches hugging the exterior.
