As the blindfold covered her eyes, plunging her into darkness, the chatter around her got louder. Suddenly, she smelled things she hadn’t smelled before. Then the tail of a donkey was put firmly in her hands. The thumbtack situated for pinning.

But not before a pair of hands grabbed her by the shoulders and started to spin her clockwise. She could hear giggles and whispers. Were they talking about her?

She stopped spinning. The time has come to pin the tail. She stepped forward and stabbed a giggler, drawing blood. “Ouch!”

She smiled and proceeded to stab another. And another.
