âYour Chariot Awaitsâ
The invitation arrived by messenger in a thick, black, envelope with my name on the front.
I took the envelope reluctantly, knowing exactly what it was, and more importantly, what it said, before it was even handed to me. My hand shook as I handed it back.
I knew this day would come so I didnât look back. I just followed the messenger out my front door and tried to remember what my former life looked like.
Outside was a beautiful Rolls-Royce waiting in all black with yellow, gold trim. My last ride going out in style.
