Moving Pictures | A 100 Word Story
#863 | Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett
Doris waited for the nurse to bring her photo album. It’s kept in a special room with other resident albums and can only be viewed once a week.
A nurse places the album on Doris’ lap and leaves the room. The first image is baby Doris in her mother’s arms, singing her favorite lullaby. Her mother turns in black and white and wink’s at Doris who opens to the first page.
Each photograph comes to life. Memories of her childhood, adulthood, and death.
“Doris, are you looking at grandma’s photo album again?”
Doris looks up at her granddaughter and winks.
