TRANSCRIPT
The faint glow cast shadows on the wall that her dad used to make puppets with his hands. A fairytale told on the bare wall, without a word spoken between them, till she dozed off to sleep.
Outside the cabin he could just make out the moonlight through the closed curtains. His wife asleep on the couch from exhaustion, holding their newborn son in her arms.
A tap on the window made him sit up straight. His wife’s eyes opened. A look between them and they knew. The time for resting was over.
He leaned forward and extinguished the lantern.
