When I heard the car door slam I knew I would be dead in less than one hour. I could feel every bump the car took down a gravel dirt road. My legs started to go numb first and then my hands before I felt the first bead of sweat on my forehead as it scraped along a rubber mat.
The car stopped but I must’ve fallen asleep when it happened. The sound of whistling and a shovel digging nearby woke me. That’s when panic started to set in.
Before I could scream the trunk I was bound in, opened.
