The cloak she wore, dark as midnight, was handed down from her mother, and her mother before. They wore the black cloak to blend in with the night so as not to be seen.
As she stepped outside she looked to the sky. A smile on her face as she greeted every star before snuffing them out. She walked down Main Street, searching for anyone not following the sunset rules.
Stay indoors
Lock all points of entry.
Never answer the door.
And most of all, never let any light escape the house.
Light is her weakness. Darkness her super power.
