“You ask this every week, Madame President. And every week I remind you that I can’t tell you. All we need from you is your signature.”
Madame President put her pen down in defiance. “And what if I refuse to sign?”
“You forget, we don’t technically need you or your signature.”
He put the contract down in front of her. She happened to glance at the underlined name and gasped. Releasing a different creature every week was meant to be for the good of the country.
“You can’t be serious. We’d be inviting a bloodbath!”
