Legend has it that the world was created by The Great Eagle.
Local tribes argue constantly about how exactly it created the world. Often with spears.
Some tribes say it laid an egg, from which the world hatched.
Others say that molted feathers landed in the ground to become trees, its mighty wings flapping to become the wind.
But eagles don't flap all that much, they soar.
The most popular belief is that The Great Eagle took a large smelly crap, and that's the world.
Based on how things are going these days, I can see how that's become popular.
She was the air. She was the sky. She was the stars. Above the earth, she was everything. The goddess of the heavens, she soared. The whistling of her wings echoed as she watched time pass. No one was above her. No one was more. She was the queen. She would always be the queen.
As she soared, she scanned. Looking for trouble. Looking to save. She was the protector. She was beauty incarnate. The most magnificent being on earth. The most magnificent being in the sky. The most magnificent being- oh look! A mouse.
Yummy yum, yum yum.
Tasty.
