Today on Erica Drayton Writes, the Prompt is headshot!
Write a 100 word story.
And tag me if you take up the challenge.

The exhibit is about to begin and it’s not complete. Something is missing. Actually, someone is missing. I’ve been working for the last five years to accumulate this collections of heads that I have on display. But anyone who is able to interpret my installation will know that one is missing.

My only hope is that she shows up here tonight. I invited her, you see. In the hopes that I can do what I’ve always wanted to do in my illustrious career; shoot a head in front of everyone!

The doors open and just my luck, she walks in.
