ARCHIVE
Move all of your “read” emails and archive them. You could be like me with 40k+ emails sitting in you inbox. Gmail crashed multiple times.
Trust me this is the heaviest lift.

CREATE FILTERS
Take your unread emails and identify which you know come regularly. Newsletters. Bills. Stuff like that.
Create a filter, folder, and check off these options to quickly remove them from your inbox upon arrival.

DELETE, JUNK, UNSUBSCRIBE
I’m sure others will vehemently disagree with me here but we all get junk emails. Why bother archiving them so they keep coming? Now that your inbox zero, identifying them and dealing with them is much more manageable.

I never go to bed with more than 5 emails sitting in my inbox and typically it’s because I plan on actioning them the next day.

Seriously, if you do nothing else this year, and you suffer from thousands of emails dating back to when you first signed up for one, seek inbox zero & you’ll never go back.
