4 Quick and Easy Steps to Achieve Inbox Zero
I love writing Threads on Twitter. But I get it, not everyone enjoys using Twitter. No worries! Now you won’t miss a thread cause they’re all right here. Enjoy!
Inbox Zero The single most effective thing I learned and implemented in 2022. Here’s how I did it to all 5 of my email accounts and you can to in under an hour. 🧵 ahead…
ARCHIVE Move all of your “read” emails and archive them. You could be like me with 40k+ emails sitting in you inbox. Gmail crashed multiple times. Trust me this is the heaviest lift.
CREATE FILTERS Take your unread emails and identify which you know come regularly. Newsletters. Bills. Stuff like that. Create a filter, folder, and check off these options to quickly remove them from your inbox upon arrival.
DELETE, JUNK, UNSUBSCRIBE I’m sure others will vehemently disagree with me here but we all get junk emails. Why bother archiving them so they keep coming? Now that your inbox zero, identifying them and dealing with them is much more manageable.
INBOX ZERO I never go to bed with more than 5 emails sitting in my inbox and typically it’s because I plan on actioning them the next day.
