Hello Fellow Gamers!
It’s been a LONG time since I’ve shared my thoughts on what’s been going on. And with each breaking story I’ve felt less and less like chiming in because
My thoughts might mean very little and
By the time I get it all written down the story/moment may have already passed.
But I realized something the past couple weeks. I created BraveBird for me and not really for anyone who chooses to subscribe. It’s a place where I want to record my feelings on gaming and more specifically my own journey with games. I don’t play everything like other gamers do. I have a pretty refined palette and even less time than I used to when I was just a kid with all the time in the world.
One of those few games I play happens to be Zelda. From old to new I’ve played a good number of the games. I’ve been toying with ranking the games (as it seems everyone else is doing) and throwing my personal feelings into the mix. But in the meantime, I have preordered the game from Gamestop. I am a physical version only player. This means I’ll likely be avoiding Twitch and Youtube channels that will have their reviews and playthroughs up within minutes of the game officially releasing.
My intention is to stream myself playing the game. If I do, you can follow me over on my Twitch Channel and hopefully see me this Friday, if not, at some point on the weekend. As I said, I’ve got a lot going on in my life and my time to play video games is quite limited, unfortunately.
I am really excited about this game. I will admit I’ve only played about 75hrs of BotW and did not finish the game. I hope to go a bit further in this one than I did.
As the days lead up to Zelda I hope to be back with not just my own thoughts and rankings on the previous games but I’ll share some personalities that I hold in high regard as well. Consider it a documentation of the lead-up to Zelda.
Are you excited to play? I know Pokemon has some DLC’s coming but I’m not just a Pokemon fan! I’m also setting aside time to play HP when it comes out on the Switch in July. This is gonna be a great Summer for gaming.
