Where is your happy place? Can you picture it in your minds eye? Does it have birds chirping? Perhaps a sunny day by the beach. Waves lapping up onto the shore. While you take a nap. No troubles. No bills. No real responsibilities. Or perhaps, it’s just a quiet place. Silence, after all, can heal so many things.
My happy place? It happens to reside somewhere on the corner of Happiness Lane and Horror Street. That place where you think everything is going to be alright and then it isn’t and you’re confused and unsure. Self-doubt creeps in and before you know it, you’re trapped with no way to escape that place you thought was happy but turns out is anything but…
You’ve just entered that space. My space. And I can’t promise you’ll make it out okay or alive, but I can promise you’ll never forget what you read while you’re here…

My Bradbury Year [2025 - 2026] - Every week, for 52 weeks, I’ll read one public domain short story and write my own short story with a behind-the-story extra as well.
100 Word Stories [daily] - On a journey to 1,000. All stories will be behind the paywall by 2/1/2026.
Short Stories - Word length ranges from 500 - 10,000 but they are all horror.
The Serials - Previously published novels series, released weekly as episodes/chapters.

Murder Pen Society* - Nothing like a good murder mystery or horror to get the blood pumping and mind reeling. I like reading how to write these genres as well as reading/watching/listening these genres and then analyzing them. Book club anyone? If you like horror and mysteries like I do, then joining this society is a must!
Stardate* - I’m slowly watching every Star Trek television series and movies and reviewing each and every single one. I am a trekkie and proud of it! 🖖🏾
