This is gonna be a short one as I’m just here to share that for the month of October I intend to read the following book:
I’ve been wanting to get back to reading on a more serious basis and I’ve also wanted to read something by Ray Bradbury. This book has been sitting on my shelf for a few months now, ever since I watched the R.L. Stine MasterClass and he mentioned it as a must read for anyone wanting to learn how to master suspenseful writing. That would most definitely be me.
Reading should be a part of any writer's dietary requirements. It promotes learning, healthy brain muscles, and creativity. All things necessary to write great stories.
If you’re a writer, like me, do you gravitate towards books written in the genre you like to write or do you prefer to steer clear and read anything else?
Have you read any good suspense/thriller books that you would recommend? I’m always up for reading new things if it will point me in a creative direction.
If you would like to join me in reading Something Wicked This Way Comes, allow me to point you towards my discord server The Fiction ‘Stacks that has a book club channel where we can get together and have discussions as we read. You’re more than welcome to join!
Or if you’re reading something else this Halloween month, do share it in the comments below. I’d love to add more to my TBR list!
If you liked what you just read, do me a huge favor and click the heart icon! Thanks!
