#754 - Matsuo's Sake

While on a pilgrimage to seek enlightenment my guide, throughout the entirety of the hike, kept drinking from his water bottle. Nut he never seemed to need the bathroom and over time I noticed his eyes became distant, his speech slurred. And for a man who I’d not seen crack a smile all day, was nothing but smiles the last hour.

It had to be whatever he was drinking. So when his bladder finally gave out and he went to find tree I took sip.

When the frog man came back I hopped on his back all the way home.
